FAQ
How far in advance should we book?
If you have a set date, it is best to enquire early. Popular months' book out quickly, especially weekends. Be aware that the official form Notice Of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be completed, signed and submitted to the celebrant at least one full month before the wedding date (but no more than 18 months in advance).
How does the legal process work in Australia?
As your celebrant, I guide you through the legal steps required for a valid marriage in Australia. These include for instance :
Notice of Intended Marriage (NoIM) : official form submitted to the celebrant at least one full month before the wedding (but no more than 18 months in advance).
Happily Ever Before and After : brochure handed before the wedding
Declaration of no legal impediment to marriage : signed just before the wedding
Monitum & Legal Vows : mandatory words pronounced in a civil marriage ceremony
Official Certificate of Marriage : signed during the ceremony
Can you deliver the ceremony in French, Spanish, Italian or German?
Yes. I am fluent in English, French and Spanish. I can also say a few words in Italian or German, for a greeting, a poem, a reading, etc. We want to make sure that your guests feel included in your ceremony.
Can we include cultural or family traditions?
Yes. We can include cultural elements, readings, and rituals in a way that feels respectful and natural. This can be very important, it helps you to feel fully present and completely sincere when you exchange your vows
How many meetings does it take?
A premium ceremony includes a minimum of 3 meetings and more if needed depending on your ceremony. The process consists of three parts: Discovery, Ceremony Design and Final Shaping.
Do we need the plan a rehearsal?
Yes. I strongly recommend organising a rehearsal to ensure that the ceremony is suited to the venue’s logistical requirements, that the bride and groom’s entrance is perfect, and that the program runs smoothly.
Do you travel across Sydney?
I am based in Sydney, but I can conduct civil wedding ceremonies anywhere in New South Wales and throughout Australia, as I am a Commonwealth-accredited celebrant. If you are planning your celebration abroad, I can conduct a lovely symbolic ceremony (but you will need to arrange a civil wedding separately – I can take care of it as long as it is held in Australia).
What happens if it rains and we are outdoors?
We plan a simple wet-weather approach with your venue, so the ceremony can still flow smoothly.
How do we secure the booking?
Once your date is confirmed, we follow a simple booking process with confirmation details and payment steps.
